I just wanted to let everyone know that Mom has had a great last couple of days.

Mom feeling better

Saturday was an excellent day. Mom got dressed and came with Chris, the girls, and I to Matt and Elaine's to cut down two trees. She was a trooper. She sat out in the heat from 10 to about 2; then went back later that afternoon for supper. While at Matt and Elaine's, she was able to walk up the stairs to enjoy the A/C, no bugs, and a nice chat with Mrs. Connie. All in all, a great day; althought she is paying for it today.

Chaos gets married

On Saturday night, our friend Chris Smith (aka Chaos) finally got married. He married a girl from the Lafayette area Candy Vidrine. They had a beautiful reception at VermilionVille in Lafayette. It was a museum. The girls enjoyed looking in the windows of the various shops (restaurant, cooking school, museum, etc...); also sitting on a pier under a pavilion looking at the water flowing underneath us.
